Lohia Corp, one of India's leading manufacturers of technical textile machinery, made its much-awaited market debut on Thursday. The stock listed at Rs 460 on the BSE, an 8.24% premium over its IPO price of Rs 425. On the NSE, it debuted at Rs 461, translating into an 8.47% listing premium.
The listing surpassed grey market expectations, which had indicated a premium of around 5%. Ahead of its debut, the stock was commanding a grey market premium (GMP) of about Rs 19 per share, implying a listing price of around Rs 444.
The Rs 1,101 crore IPO was entirely an Offer for Sale (OFS), with shares priced in the range of Rs 404-425 apiece. Ahead of the public issue, the company raised Rs 492.11 crore from anchor investors on July 22, 2026.
The IPO was open for subscription between July 23 and July 27 and witnessed solid demand across investor categories. The issue was subscribed 7.78 times overall.
Institutional investors drove the momentum, with the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) portion subscribed 10.10 times. The Non-Institutional Investors (NII) segment was booked 6.82 times, while the Retail Individual Investors (RII) category saw subscriptions of 2.77 times.

Established in 2023, Lohia Corp manufactures machinery and equipment used in the production of technical textiles, particularly for manufacturing polypropylene (PP) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) woven fabrics and sacks.
As of March 31, 2026, the company had an installed annual manufacturing capacity of 240 tape extrusion lines, 13,800 circular looms, and 108,000 winders. Its diversified product portfolio includes tape extrusion lines, circular looms, coating and lamination systems, printing and conversion machines, multifilament yarn machinery, twister winders, monofilament extrusion lines, recycling machines, and related spare parts.
Strong financial performance
Lohia Corp heads into its market debut on the back of a robust financial performance. For FY26, the company reported a 64% year-on-year surge in net profit to Rs 193 crore, compared with Rs 118 crore in the previous fiscal.
Revenue from operations also posted healthy growth, rising 25% YoY to Rs 1,717 crore from Rs 1,377 crore in FY25, highlighting strong business momentum as the company enters the public markets.
With healthy subscription numbers and solid financial growth supporting investor confidence, all eyes will now be on whether Lohia Corp can translate its fundamentals into a strong stock market debut despite the relatively subdued grey market premium.
