Logan Paul has received backlash online after a video went viral on TikTok from an animal sanctuary who found an abandoned pig, once owned by the YouTuber, with a life-threatening infection. The Gentle Barn said it found the animal, whose name is Pearl, next to a dead pig.
“She's clearly been through so much trauma that we can't begin to imagine, but she's now safe with us,” the TikTok caption says.
“From what we’ve been told, it’s believed she was purchased originally from a breeder by an influencer.

“People often buy ‘mini pigs’ or ‘teacup pigs’ for clout online, believing they will stay small. When they inevitably grow very large and have many unexpected needs, they're sadly discarded.”
While the TikTok didn’t mention Logan Paul, viewers were quick to spot the pig once belonged to the podcaster.
Paul rehomed the pig almost two and a half years ago to “an amazing Ranch” he visited in Santa Clarita before moving to Puerto Rico.
“I was unable to bring her to the island. She lived there happily for 10 months before the owner sold the Ranch. She was rehomed w/o my knowledge to the Farmer across the street," Paul tweeted.
“As far as I know, the Farmer called the Gentle Barn to pick her up, & denies there was a second pig — Pearl was transferred alone. This is an incredibly heartbreaking situation, I had Pearl for 2 years."
Logan went on to thank the barn for taking Pearl in and said he will do whatever needs be to aid Pearl’s care. The following day, Logan Paul tweeted a cryptic message saying “the matrix is real. pray you never become its target.”
Paul joins controversial personality Andrew Tate in tweeting about ‘the matrix.’ This term is thought to be used to describe the powers that be in politics, media and large organisations.
However, people on Twitter have replied to Logan Paul saying his ‘matrix’ excuse is a cop out so that he does not have to take accountability for his actions.
One account tweeted: "It's called personal accountability. Try it sometime."
One user said: “U not it’s target you just an idiot”, while another added “you gotta stop boxing bro, your brain is clearly damaged.”
