Logan Paul stuns fans with his performance against The Miz at WWE SummerSlam

Logan Paul has stunned WWE fans with his performance against The Miz at WWE Summerslam, after securing an impressive win in Nashville. Paul finally got his chance to take on The Miz after repeatedly calling him out.

And, the American YouTube star left the bumper crowd shocked after he defeated the 41-year-old at the Nissan Stadium. The fight was built out of The Miz’s turn on Paul, after they were initially paired together in a tag team at Wrestlemania.

Fighting together, the pair took on WWE legend Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik and won the match in Texas in front of an adoring crowd.

However The Miz then dramatically turned on his partner, setting up this weekend’s clash where Paul was able to get his revenge. The YouTuber made his new-found rival play with a move to remember, as he took to the top rope before pulling off a remarkable frog splash.

The Miz lay across the announcer desk, and was then flattened by the flying Paul - along with the table - leaving the Nashville crowd in shock. After the clash the ever-confident YouTuber revealed he was happy to put his once mentor ‘in his place’.

He said: “I am exhausted. I have got to be honest this sport is insane, this is one of the craziest things I have ever done, I can not believe how quickly I have been thrown in at the highest level and expected to perform, but in the end that is what I do.

“I put Miz in his place, I told him exactly what I was going to do and I did it. He underestimated me, respect is respect but I beat my mentor. Talking about his high-flying frog splash from the top rope, Paul went on to describe his move as a moment he will ‘remember for the rest of his life’.

He went on: “Oh man, that is the stuff you dream about as a kid. Like that is the stuff I emulated growing up. I would stand on the end of the couch and body slam my friend and I got to do it now in real life, in Nashville with 50,000 people watching, man it is a moment. It is a moment I will remember for the rest of my life.
