Logan Paul advises Deji to get "paid upfront" for Floyd Mayweather fight

After accusing Floyd Mayweather of not paying him, Logan Paul has advised fellow YouTube star Deji to get "paid upfront" for his exhibition fight with the the ring legend.

Mayweather's latest exhibition was confirmed following initial reports from Mirror Fighting that the former five-weight world champion will face Deji, the brother of KSI, on November 13 at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. 'Money' brutally knocked out Japanese kickboxer Mikuru Asakura this past weekend having outclassed former sparring Don Moore in their exhibition fight in May.

Paul went eight rounds with Mayweather last June, with no winner being declared as the fight was under exhibition rules, although Mayweather out-landed 'The Maverick' despite throwing over 100 less punches. Paul's reported payday for the fight was £15million but he claims Mayweather still owes him several million over one year on from the fight, which has led the American to advise Deji to be paid before he steps in the ring against 'Money'.

Speaking of the alleged outstanding debt on his Impaulsive podcast, Paul said: "I got paid a little bit, not like I should have got paid. I'm missing out on a few million. Tell him to f***ing pay me bro, he probably owes me between two and three [million]." Mayweather initially told Paul to "be patient" when addressing the alleged outstanding debt, but has since dismissed the claims as "bull****".

"This is the guy who said he didn't get paid which we know is truly false, which is why I don't entertain the bull**** a lot of the time," Mayweather said of Paul. "We know he got paid and if he didn't get paid he wouldn't be trying to get another payday. It is so crazy that Logan Paul wants to do an exhibition again but it is the same guy that said he didn't get paid. It is what it is."

After losing three consecutive white-collar fights, Deji picked up his first boxing win last monty by stopping fellow YouTuber Yusef 'Fousey' Erakat. Mayweather retired from professional boxing in 2017 after improving his flawless record to 50-0 by defeating UFC star Conor McGregor. Mayweather has since pocketed huge paydays by taking on a number of exhibition bouts that haven't gone on his professional record, earning in the range of $15-$20million for his knockout of Asakura.

'Money' likened his fight with Paul to a 'legalised bank robbery' and pocketed an eye-watering £52million for the un-scored contest. Mayweather's uncle, Jeff, even urged his nephew to pay Paul in full for their fight, as the boxing great continues to plan exhibition bouts for next year despite the allegations of his outstanding debt to his fellow American.
