Lockyer Valley home where man was allegedly murdered destroyed by fire

A Queensland house where a man was allegedly murdered earlier this year has been destroyed by fire.

In June 48-year-old Jamie Barlow was discovered with multiple stab wounds in his Laidley home, which had been set alight.

At the time, emergency crews deemed the house fire on Patrick Street had been deliberately lit and was quickly extinguished.

Multiple people were subsequently charged with murder and their cases are before court.

At about 3:30 this morning the same house caught on fire.

The Queensland Ambulance Service said no patients were reported on the scene.

It took five fire crews an hour to put out the blaze and the house completely collapsed.

Police and the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service have attended the scene and investigations are ongoing.
