Location, Location, Location viewers slammed a ‘grumpy’ Glasgow house-hunting couple who struggled to find their dream home.
Laura and Euan enlisted the help of Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer as they looked for a property in the West End area of Glasgow, after returning to Scotland following a stint in Sydney, Australia.
They wanted to find a place that felt like home, and Kirstie had a task on her hands, as the average house price in the city has increased by 13 per cent in just 12 months.
The trio visited houses in the upmarket West End area, as Laura and Euan wanted a swankier home to retreat to.
But viewers were unimpressed with Euan, who they claimed was “a bit annoying” as he refused to be enthusiastic about the properties they were being shown.
“Is he very very cross at having to come back from Sydney, or is that just his natural demeanour and expression ? #LocationLocationLocation,” one wrote, as they were shown a £350,000 three-bedroom tenement flat with a shared garden.
“He's a bit annoying... #locationlocationlocation,” one added.
“Euan really is a strange fish… this Hillhead apt is lovely #locationlocationlocation,” another tweeted, as the couple were shown around another house that didn’t quite fit their requirements.
“Euan is a grumpy whatsit #locationlocationlocation,” one commented, as one speculated he was unhappy at leaving Australia.
“Euan isn't going to get over being forced to leave Sydney. #locationlocationlocation,” one suggested.
However, some sided with the house-hunter, as they said it was a good thing Euan was straight to the point with his feelings over the properties.
“Good show tonight. I like Euan. He wears his heart on his sleeve and would make a terrible poker player. I relate to that totally #locationlocationlocation,” they quipped.
Laura and Euan did eventually put an offer down on the tenement flat in Glasgow, which was accepted.
