Local restaurant offering cheap meals next month to help beat January blues

A local restaurant is implementing a budget-friendly deal throughout the entirety of January to help people beat the blues.

The 'January blues' are a common occurrence for many people after all the excitement and spending of the Christmas period has come to an end. With all of us feeling the pinch more than usual, eating out is a luxury many people may have to forgo.

French restaurant Bistrot Pierre is keen to help people indulge in a weekday treat without breaking the bank next month. It's inviting guests to 'Dine Out for £10' throughout the whole of January.

The 'Dine Out for £10' menu is available all day from Monday to Friday and includes a main dish, or guests can upgrade to three courses for £15. Customer favourites including honey glazed pork medallions, chicken diane and tarte picardy are on offer and, for those embracing Veganuary, the cauliflower and chickpea curry will also be available.

Nick White, CEO of Bistrot Pierre, said: "January can be a grey month, with little to celebrate, but we want to change that. We are so excited to see our guests back post-Christmas - we wanted to give them something affordable to look forward to."

The Dine Out for £10 menu will be available all day Monday to Friday, from January 3 until February 13 at Bistrot Pierre. The discounted menu includes a main dish, with a starter and dessert available to add for £2.50 per course.

The three course Menu Pierre, including a complimentary glass of signature Cuvée 22 wine, a pint of Biére 94 or a soft drink for £22.95, will also be available during January.
