ECHO readers have shared the issues that they will be considering when heading to the polls.
Liverpool doesn't have a local election this year, following the Max Caller report into the handling of the city council. However, voters in other boroughs across the region still have their chance to vote.
Readers took part in an anonymous survey to share the reasons behind their vote. From litter problems to the economy, there is plenty on our reader's minds.

The survey found that the ' Partygate ' scandal has not changed how 52% of readers will vote. It also found that recent reports and criticism of local councillors has affected the vote of 60% of readers.
For 70% of our readers, their local council's handling of environmental policies and bin collections are unsatisfactory. Housing and major housing plans has also influenced the vote of 57% of readers.
Some readers were unimpressed by how councillors interact with voters, with one reader wanting them to "be more visible to electors". Another thinks that they should "knock on my door and explain themselves, rather than drops leaflet in and run away".
Rimrose Valley Country Park was an important issue to another reader. The Save Rimrose Valley campaign group are fighting plans for a new road that would see the park demolished.
Hoylake Beach was another issue one reader would be thinking of tomorrow. The 'save the beach' debate has shaken up the race for the Wirral Council seat.
Since 2019, Wirral Council stopped all maintenance of the beach after it was slated for spraying it with glyphosate. Local Conservative councillors have sided with the sandy beach argument, while Labour has favoured a natural beach.
