A kitten that was rushed to a veterinary hospital on Friday is able to get treatment she needs thanks to the contributions of people in the local Falkirk community.
Owner Hayley Chalmers rushed her pet kitten Rugby to an out of hours hospital after she struggled to pass urine.
She had asked for help from the charity from the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals but was told that she wasn’t eligible for any help because she was not in a catchment.

According to The Daily Record, she was hit with a £400 initial bill, with costs due to continue to rise for Rugby’s treatment.
Hayley set up a GoFundMe fundraiser to help with the unexpected costs and within just a day a target of £750 was reached.
She said: "On Friday Rugby was struggling to pass urine and we had to rush her to the vet hospital in Edinburgh.
"We did contact the PDSA and were told we weren't eligible for help until we gave our postcode. But we were out the catchment areas for any PDSA help.
"We had to phone the out of hours for our vet and that's how we ended up at the Edinburgh PDSA hospital with a bill of £400 - yet we were entitled to no help by the PDSA.
"We are now in a situation where she requires further treatment of a scan and flush of her bladder. We found out she has high levels of crystals in her urine which means she could have kidney stones as well."
Hayley has been left overwhelmed by the help of locals with funds to pay the bill in such a short space of time.
In a Facebook post she said: "We have now raised the funds and I just want to thank everyone so much for all the help you've gave us by either sharing or contributing, I am so humbled by all, I'll always be forever grateful!"
