Lloyds harbourside building in Bristol awarded listed status ahead of sale

Lloyds Bristol Harbourside Lloyds Banking Group Historic England

A landmark building on Bristol's harbourside that has been owned by Lloyds Banking Group since 1990 has been awarded Grade II listed status.

Canons House, which was built as a regional headquarters for the bank between 1988 and 1991, was handed the recognition by the Government on the advice of Historic England.

According to heritage body, the building has played an "important role" in the post-industrial regeneration of Bristol’s docks as a thriving recreation and cultural centre.
