Three time GRAMMY® Award-winning, RIAA multi-platinum certified artist Lizzo has officially announced a UK tour alongside other European dates with Glasgow set to welcome the iconic singer next year.
Announcing the news on social media, the artist said it was something everyone had been "waiting for" with Glasgow set to welcome her on March 8, 2023. Tickets go on sale on Friday, October 7, via Ticketmaster.
Taking to Instagram she said: "It's about damn time the special tour came to the UK and Europe. Y'all been waiting for this one - UK and EU get your tix at 10/7 at 12pm local time."

Her most recent album, 'Special', peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart, becoming the highest-charting album by a female artist in 2022. Not only that, but its release week also became the largest week earned among all albums released by a woman this year.
'The Special Tour' has already kicked off today (October 3) in North America in support of her latest album, 'Special'. However starting next year, she will play 15 dates across the UK and the rest of Europe with Joy Crooks set to be the support act during the UK leg of the upcoming tour.

The news comes as Lizzo, who is a classically trained flautist, made history by becoming the first person in two centuries to play the Library of Congress’ 200-year-old crystal flute which was originally owned by the fourth president of the United States, James Madison.
Sharing a clip of the performance on Twitter after the show, Lizzo wrote: “Nobody has ever heard this famous crystal flute before...now you have" adding: "I'm the first and only person to ever play this presidential 200-year-old crystal flute - thank you @librarycongress.”
Taking to the comment section after her post one said: "Whaaaat??? Amazing!!!"
Another added: "Cannot wait for Glasgow Lizzo!"
"Proud of you" wrote a third.
