Conservative backbenchers have warned Liz Truss 'has little more than a week' to save her leadership as she prepares to defend to her 'new approach'.
The Prime Minister will give her first Tory conference speech as leader today (Wednesday) amid widespread concerns over her plans for the economy. She is set to defend her 'new approach' which she says will 'unleash the full potential of our great country'.
Ms Truss will say the 'disruption' from her plans to revive the country’s economy will be worth it and will insist there can be no more 'drift and delay' in the effort to boost economic growth.
