Scott Bitsindou will come back from Arbroath a much better player, according to Livi boss David Martindale.
The Congo international midfielder has joined the Championship outfit on loan for the rest of the season with a January recall clause in place to help him adapt to Scottish football.
The 26-year-old signed from Belgian side Lierse in the summer but has so far tallied just a single minute of Premiership action.
He becomes the latest link-up with the Red Lichties, with Livingston strikers Joel Nouble and Jack Hamilton having previously enjoyed temporary spells with Dick Campbell’s side.
Explaining the move, gaffer Martindale said: “He needs games and we need to quicken his adaptation to Scottish football.”
He believes Arbroath is the right place for him to achieve that and added: “He will get well looked after at Arbroath and be playing at a high level whilst also being in with us training every day.”
