Livingston confirm exit of young defender with another departure expected

Livingston Livi Ivan Konovalov Phill Lions Phillip Cancar ALeague

Livingston have confirmed the exit of Phillip Cancar - with goalkeeper Ivan Konovalov also set to leave West Lothian.

Aussie defender Cancar departs after arriving on a two-year deal in the summer but finding game time limited. The 21-year-old made five appearances for the Lions, scoring once, but hasn't featured since a 5-0 loss to Aberdeen in August.

He returns to the A-League where he will join Newcastle Jets.
