Livingston boss David Martindale donates Manager of the Month award to raise funds for charity

Livingston boss David Martindale is going to auction off his Manager of the Month award to help raise funds for a local mental health group.

The Lions gaffer was rewarded for the club's fine set of results in November with the award and will donate the trophy by way of a silent email auction in aid of Kick Mental Health.

Speaking to the club's website, Martindale said: "I’m delighted that I can help raise awareness and hopefully some funds for the guys at Kick Mental Health. If this award, which was a collective effort, can help raise some much needed funds for the group, then I’m more than happy to see it do so.

“I was very proud and humbled to accept the trophy and delighted that it can now also be put to good use.”
