More and more corporate professionals are now landing high-paying remote roles with US-based companies and building flexible lifestyles. This is a shift in India's tech workforce that is very different from the regular 9-5 office routine.
One such example from Bengaluru has been doing the rounds on X, formerly known as Twitter. A man took to his X handle and revealed that one of his friends reportedly earns around Rs 4.5 lakh per month post-tax from a US-based remote job, adds another Rs 1 lakh monthly through freelance work, works limited hours, and still manages a highly flexible, travel-heavy lifestyle.
