Livid TUI passengers 'try to rip open door' to get bags after 12-hour travel ordeal

Livid passengers tried to rip open a door to get their luggage after they endured a 12-hour travel ordeal with travel giant TUI.

The angry customers finally snapped when they reached Birmingham Airport - more than 150 miles from Norwich, where they were supposed to have landed. Their flight home from Turkey had been delayed for four hours before it was diverted to the Midlands.

Eventually, the furious bunch landed back in the UK just after 3am yesterday (Saturday, July 9). However, their travel nightmare was far from over and they were more than 100 miles from home.
