Bolton Wanderers have confirmed the signing of Liverpool full-back Owen Beck after his season-long loan spell at Prima Liga side Famalicao was terminated, just 46 days after joining the club.
Beck made two substitute appearances for the Reds last season and was sent out on loan to the Portuguese side in July, but will now further his game with League One side Bolton, alongside fellow Red Conor Bradley.
The 20-year-old will compete for the left-back role in Ian Evatt's side as they look for promotion back to the Championship this season.

Famalicao got their season underway earlier this month, but Beck was an unused substitute for three of their games. Beck was then not included in the matchday squad for the club's victory over Santa Clara on Saturday.
“Owen is a player we’ve known about for a long time and we’ve monitored his progress,” Bolton boss Ian Evatt told bwfc.com.
“He went on loan to the Portuguese Premier League. That didn’t quite work out for him. That can happen and we’ve benefited from that. He’s very much in the Liverpool mould, which fits the way we play. He’s kind of a left-footed Conor and we’re lucky to have him.
“Thanks to Liverpool and Owen for choosing us and hopefully he can progress throughout the season and get some real minutes under his belt. We’re looking forward to working with him.”
Beck could make his Trotters debut at home to Charlton on Saturday.
