Liverpool teenager Harvey Elliott has been forced out of England under-21s' crucial clash with Czech Republic after testing positive for coronavirus.
Elliott met up with the squad on Tuesday having been on the bench for the Reds' Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid in Paris and subsequently taken part in Sunday's trophy parade.
The 19-year-old has now returned to England and will miss Friday’s Euro 2023 qualifier in Ceske Budejovice, although he could return for qualifiers later this month.

“Harvey has Covid but we’re hoping he joins up with us later on,” said England U21s boss Lee Carsley.
“He came in here, had his dinner and woke up the next day with a sore throat and a headache."
Elliott, who returned to action in February having missed almost five months following a serious ankle injury, had his first U21 call-up in March when he made his debut in the 4-1 win over Andorra at Bournemouth.
England U21s are three points behind Group G leaders Czech Republic with two games in hand. They finish the qualifying stage by taking on Albania at Chesterfield next Tuesday, then play in Kosovo three days later before entertaining Slovenia at Huddersfield on Monday, June 13.
