Cardiff City have reportedly won the race to sign former Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo.
Ojo, 25, spent 11 years at Anfield after joining the Reds as a 14-year-old prodigy from MK Dons, after Liverpool had successfully fought off competition from Chelsea, before leaving the club this summer upon the expiration of his contract.
And now it seems a return to the Welsh capital is the likely destination for the winger as he launches a bid to get his career back on track after eight loan spells in as many years.

According to the Daily Mail, Ojo has completed his medical at Cardiff and is set to sign a three-year deal with the Championship outfit, which will be announced in the coming days.
Cardiff manager Steve Morrison is currently overseeing significant changes to his squad during the off-season as he's signed 11 new players as the Bluebirds look to improve on their 18th place finish last campaign.
Ojo has already spent time at Cardiff, having enjoyed an impressive loan spell during the 2020/21 season as he fired five goals and contributed a further seven assists.
The 25-year-old was handed his Liverpool debut by current manager Jurgen Klopp in January 2016 as the Reds were held to a 2-2 draw by Exeter City in the FA Cup third round, but he was unable to build a long-term career at Anfield as he was sent out on loans to Fulham, Remis, Rangers, Cardiff and most recently Milwall, before ending his 11-year stay on Merseyside last month.
