Liverpool are without Ryan Gravenberch as the Dutch midfielder will have to wait until after the international break to make his debut.
Gravenberch, a £34million signing of Bayern Munich, signed on transfer deadline day but after the Premier League’s deadline for players to be registered for the weekend’s games.
The Reds signed the Dutchman up to a long-term contract on Friday night, pending a work permit. Curtis Jones comes in alongside Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai to make up the midfield three.
Klopp is also without Virgil van Dijk at the back following the captain's red card at Newcastle, while fellow centre-back Ibrahima Konate is absent due to injury.
That means Joel Matip and Joe Gomez start for the visit of the Villans, with the inexperienced Jarell Quansah on the bench.
