Liverpool continued their superb form in the Continental Cup with a 1-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds made it three wins from their first three group games thanks to a brilliant header from Jasmine Matthews on the stroke of half time.
Melissa Lawley, Rhiannon Roberts and Hannah Silcock were excellent as Matt Beard's side ensured they remained top of their group ahead of a testing December clash against Manchester City.

Faye Kirby 7
A dream debut. Had little to do in the first half but did well to settle early nerves with a comfortable claim under pressure from Megan Hornby early on. Kept a clean sheet.
Emma Koivisto 7
Constantly looking to get forward and possibly should have done better when she nodded an inviting Rhiannon Roberts' cross onto the roof of the net. Subbed.
Rhiannon Roberts 9
Caused plenty of problems with her excellent delivery into the box and seemed to be involved in absolutely everything.
Hannah Silcock 8
A maturity that far belies her 18 years. Didn't have lots to do, but impressed when called into action. Has great eye for a forward pass.
Leighanne Robe 8
Did really well to recover after initially being outpaced by Chloe Williams as Blackburn tried to break in the first half. Looked so composed and often tried to get the ball forwards.
Megan Campbell
As usual, called havoc with her long-throw delivery. Delivered some dangerous corners in the second half too.
Jasmine Matthews 7
Caught in possession a couple of times early on but grew into the game. Saw her effort tipped behind by Brooks and gave Liverpool the lead with a brilliant header on the stroke of half-time. Subbed.
Missy Bo Kearns 7
Captained her childhood club. Made some nice overlapping runs in the first half and always looking to get on the ball. Subbed.
Carla Humphrey 8
Was unlucky to see her shot blocked on the line in the first half. Absolutely sublime delivery to set up Matthews for Liverpool's first.
Melissa Lawley 9
A standout performer against Reading on Thursday night and brilliant again on Sunday. Dropped deep to win possession, popped up on both wings and was a constant handful for the Blackburn defence. Unlucky to hit the bar with her curling strike. Subbed.
Yana Daniels 7
Worked hard early on but not always in the right place when balls were whipped into the box. Influence grew in the second half as she frequently skipped past the Blackburn defence. Subbed.
Substitutes:
Katie Stengel 7
Always a threat. Saw her shot saved by Brooks shortly after entering the action.
Taylor Hinds 7
A solid display after coming on at half time.
Charlotte Wardlaw 7
Did a decent job in the middle of the park.
Ceri Holland 7
Brought plenty of energy and tried to press forwards.
Shanice van de Sanden
Minutes.
