Liverpool are eyeing a move for Juventus and Italy attacker Federico Chiesa, according to reports in Italy, as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his squad ahead of the 2023/2024 campaign.
Roberto Firmino's departure has left a vacancy in the Reds' forward line, while Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz struggled with injury problems last season. However, it would come as a surprise if Liverpool would be interested in adding another attacking player to their ranks.
Chiesa's current situation in Turin means a move to England cannot be ruled out, however. Gazzetta dello Sport report that Chiesa does not enjoy the best of relationships with Juve boss Max Allegri and struggles to fit into his 3-5-2 formation unless operating in an unprefered wing-back or second striker role.
