People waking up on Merseyside this morning will experience a noticeable drop in temperature.
As autumn nears, the temperature is dropping to single figures at times, especially overnight. While the weather remains dry and there are still some sunny spells on the forecast, it's a lot cooler.
The Met Office reports temperatures will fall to 2C overnight, and with very little cloud cover it will feel chilly. Forecasters say one or two morning showers are possible tomorrow (Friday).

However it'll be otherwise dry across Merseyside and Cheshire with plenty of bright sunshine. Feeling quite cool in brisk northerly winds with highs of 16C.
Across the weekend it will be cold for the time of year with some chilly nights, especially at first. Met Office forecaster Simon Partridge said: "The main thing is people can be staying dry, with some light northerly winds, but that will mean it will start to feel a little bit fresher as the day moves on."
He added: "It will not be wall-to-wall sunshine. There will be sunny spells through the days and clear spells overnight, but gradually it will get a little bit cooler each day."
