Liverpool weather forecast for Saturday, June 17, ahead of Africa Oye

Africa Oye will remain warm and dry for the majority of the day this Saturday (June 17).

The UK's largest celebration of African music and culture is preparing to take over Sefton Park this weekend. The festival is heading strong into its 31st year boasting a line-up of live acts, DJs and workshops for everyone to enjoy.

With summer in full swing and things heating up, Africa Oye's weather forecast looks to be no different, but perhaps a little cooler than we have seen in recent days.

A mostly cloudy day will remain dry but there is a chance of rain and thunderstorms as we move into the evening. Expect a humid and somewhat uncomfortable night as temperatures will remain high with a maximum of 25 °C.

The Met Office's report said: "Another warm day with some sunny spells, though a more unsettled day than of late, turning increasingly showery with a risk of some heavy downpours and thunderstorms. Winds staying light. Maximum temperature 25 °C."
