Liverpool will see an overcast end to the working week, before the sun returns over the weekend.
The latest Met Office forecast for the city says that Thursday (July 7) will be "overcast, changing to clear by night time". The forecast says that temperatures will peak at 17C, with lows of 15C.
It is a similar picture on Friday (July 8), which the Met Office purely states will be " overcast ". There will be highs of 18C and lows of 14C.
