Liverpool face Wrexham in New York tonight as their pre-season tour of the United States continues.
The Reds are embarking on a fresh chapter in their history under new manager Andoni Iraola, who replaced Arne Slot earlier this summer.
The Spaniard has overseen a slow start to his rebuild, with just winger Victor Munoz arriving in the transfer window so far as Liverpool eye more fresh recruits.
They are looking to improve upon their fourth-place finish in the Premier League last term, which saw Slot sacked a year after winning the title despite securing Champions League qualification.
Liverpool began the Iraola era with an impressive 4-2 friendly win over top-flight rivals Sunderland in Nashville on Saturday, in which Federico Chiesa and Dominik Szoboszlai both scored, along with youngsters Kieran Morrison and Lewis Koumas.
Wrexham have already beaten both Manchester United and Leeds this summer following a goalless draw with Polish outfit Wisla Krakow.

Liverpool vs Wrexham team news
Stand-in captain Joe Gomez was forced off early against Sunderland to worsen Iraola’s injury plight in defence.
It means that Liverpool are very short at centre-back at the moment, with summer signing Jeremy Jacquet also likely to miss out once again.
Ryan Gravenberch, Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak are all part of the travelling cohort after their respective World Cup campaigns, but Virgil van Dijk, Alisson Becker and Cody Gakpo have been given extra time off.
That is the same with Alexis Mac Allister and Munoz, while Conor Bradley and Hugo Ekitike are longer-term absentees with injury.
As for Wrexham, Ryan Hardie and Elliot Lee picked up injuries after their 1-0 victory over Manchester United, and the pair did not play against Leeds.
Liberato Cacace is back after his World Cup exploits with New Zealand.
Liverpool vs Wrexham prediction
A tricky one to call considering Liverpool’s threadbare squad and Wrexham’s two wins over top-flight opposition already this summer.
The Welsh side defeated Leeds 3-2 in Tampa last time out, and Liverpool’s youthful defence could prove leaky.
That said, the young stars will be keen to pass their auditions and prove their worth to Iraola.
Liverpool to win, 2-1.
