Liverpool are through to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup after defeating Tottenham Hotspur 3–1 at Anfield on Tuesday night.
The visitors were superior initially, but the game completely changed after a well-crafted Liverpool action was capped off by Alexis Mac Allister, who fired an unstoppable hit from the edge of the penalty area to give his side the lead 21 minutes in.
