Richarlison grabbed a crucial equaliser to earn relegation-threatened Tottenham a point at Anfield and dent Liverpool’s top-five hopes as Spurs boss Igor Tudor ended his losing streak after four consecutive defeats in charge.
A first-half free-kick from Dominik Szoboszlai, his fourth of the season, had given Liverpool the lead. Frustratingly for Tottenham, after Antonin Kinsky’s disastrous display at Atletico Madrid on Tuesday there was another goalkeeping mistake with Guglielmo Vicario appearing culpable from the Liverpool midfielder’s set-piece.
But Tottenham did not roll over. Richarlison had at least four opportunities, two before half time and another couple following the restart, but was denied by the returning Alisson. Liverpool brought on Hugo Ekitike and Mohamed Salah in search of a finishing blow, but Tottenham still stood resolute at a tense Anfield.
Then, in the 90th minute, Richarlison struck to punish poor Liverpool defending and salvage a point for the visitors. It means Tudor’s side remain one point above the relegation zone, after Nottingham Forest and West Ham also picked up a draw this weekend, but it could be the lift that turns their season around.

Richarlison does it again against Liverpool at Anfield
02:06 , Richard JollyThe goal had been coming: for Tottenham in general and Richarlison in particular.
He had come close three times earlier; twice with headers, with Alisson saving the latter, and once with a shot his Brazil teammate saved after he had wriggled away from Van Dijk, claiming the Liverpool captain fouled him.
The former Everton forward can take pleasure from annoying Liverpool; but until he struck, only goal difference was keeping Tottenham out of the drop zone.

Igor Tudor hopes Tottenham draw can be a 'turning point'
00:02 , Jamie Braidwood“It is an amazing, incredible point we take here, and deserving We showed team spirit. Congratulations to the guys,” Igor Tudor told Sky Sports after he earned his first point in charge of Tottenham, following four consecutive defeats. Spurs were missing 12 senior players for the trip to Anfield, and had two goalkeepers on their bench of seven players.
"It is very difficult to even explain our circumstances,” he said. “In training, we prepared in one way. This morning, Conor [Gallagher] says that he is not able to play so we need to change the players and positions. The moment is really strange and even more challenging to show who we are. The players were really amazing."

Arne Slot understands Liverpool 'frustration' after Anfield boos
22:06 , Jamie BraidwoodThere were boos at full-time as Liverpool dropped points against Tottenham and Arne Slot has given his response to Sky Sports.
” I think it is completely normal,” he said. “If the team you are supporting drop so many points against teams you don't expect them to so many times in the last seconds of a game then I think we all feel a lot of frustration.
"They have experienced this far too many times, more times than they are used to and that is completely normal that they show their frustration. The frustration is felt by me, by the players and also by our fans.”
Tottenham summon admirable fight to leave Liverpool as the club in crisis
21:06 , Richard Jolly at AnfieldLiterally and figuratively, Igor Tudor is no longer pointless. The Tottenham manager lost his unwanted 100 per cent record, got his first result to savour and, just perhaps, brought the first signs of a revival that may save a beleaguered club. Spurs’ club-record run of defeats is over, halted at six after their first draw in six weeks. For Liverpool, an inability to beat a club seemingly in crisis could come at a cost. They are stumbling when they could have strolled back towards the Champions League.

Igor Tudor not thinking about his future after Tottenham battle to draw at Liverpool
20:35 , Jamie BraidwoodIgor Tudor insisted never in his career has he thought about his future and all he wants to do is focus on building on his first point as Tottenham’s interim head coach.
Richarlison scored in the 90th minute to snatch a 1-1 draw at Liverpool and slightly ease some of the pressure on the Croatian, who had lost his first five matches after taking over from Thomas Frank as the team continued its slide towards the Premier League’s relegation zone.
But Tudor is far from in the clear with Spurs only a point above the bottom three and with their Champions League campaign looking like ending next week against Atletico Madrid the visit of fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest next weekend will be crucial.

'It's a big point': Richarlison and Porro on Tottenham's draw
20:06 , Jamie BraidwoodRicharlison and Pedro Porro told Sky Sports there are “positives” to take from Tottenham’s draw at Liverpool as Spurs boosted their survival hopes with a battling point under Igor Tudor. Tottenham will play Nottingham Forest on Sunday, after their second leg against Atletico Madrid.
“In the first half I missed two chances but I kept going, kept going. In the second half I had the opportunity again and scored,” said Richarlison, who struck in the 90th minute. “It's a big point, we now stay focused for next week and we have the Champions League in midweek, but the focus now is on the importance of the Premier League.”
Porro, who captained Spurs in the absence of Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero, added: “We always believe. I always say this, I said before the game to my team-mates I believe in us. In this moment, you need everyone and today we had a good game. The most important thing now is to take the point, the positives and keep going into the Champions League and Premier League."

Dominik Szoboszlai calls on Liverpool to ‘wake up’ or face ‘Conference League’ next season
19:40 , Jamie BraidwoodTottenham had arrived at Anfield missing 12 senior players and on the worst run of form in the Premier League, with four consecutive defeats under Igor Tudor.
But they were fully deserving of their first point under Tudor and the manner of Liverpool’s performance resulted in a smattering of boos at Anfield at full-time.
"I didn't hear the boos but I can understand because last season we became champions and this season we are not performing in the way that we should be,” Szoboszlai said.
"They should stay behind us because last season when we were champions four games before the end, everybody was happy. Support us now when we're in difficult times.”

Dominik Szoboszlai calls on Liverpool to 'wake up' or face 'Conference League'
19:25 , Jamie BraidwoodDominik Szoboszlai, speaking to Sky Sports, after Liverpool blew the chance to go fourth:
"We have to wake up. If we keep going like this, next season we should be happy if we play Conference League.
"In the first half, we played very well. We controlled the whole game, they hardly created many chances.
"Second half, I don't know, we just don't do the same things like in the first half. The question is why? We will sit down together. This is the most difficult time. We have to stick together.”
Liverpool concede another late Premier League goal
19:13 , Jamie BraidwoodLiverpool have now conceded eight goals from the 90th minute onwards in the Premier League this season.
Dominik Szoboszlai has just called on Liverpool to “wake up” or they will end up playing in the “Conference League” next season.
“This is the most difficult time,” he said.
Liverpool blow chance to go fourth in Premier League
19:02 , Jamie BraidwoodSo Liverpool can’t take full advantage of defeats for Aston Vill and Chelsea, but they do go again the Blues into fifth place - which will likely result in Champions League. The warning signs are there, though, this was a bad afternoon for Arne Slot.
- 3rd - Manchester United: 54 points (+13)
- 4th - Aston Villa: 51 points (+3)
- 5th - Liverpool: 49 points (+9)
- 6th - Chelsea: 48 points (+18)

How Tottenham's draw impacts relegation battle
18:51 , Jamie BraidwoodThe teams from 15th to 18th all drew this weekend, but given Tottenham were last to play and had a hard away fixture, this was a big point for them. They remain a point above the bottom three.
Oh, and Tottenham host Nottingham Forest next Sunday.
- 15th - Leeds: 32 points (-11)
- 16th - Tottenham: 30 points (-7)
- 17th - Nott’m Forest: 29 points (-15)
- 18th - West Ham: 29 points (-19)
Richarlison haunts Liverpool again
18:39 , Jamie BraidwoodThat’s Richarlison’s sixth goal against Liverpool in all competitions, with two for Everton and now four for Tottenham. And five of those six have come at Anfield.
His goals against Liverpool have come in 2019, 2021, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.

Jamie Carragher is furious: 'It's so easy to play against this Liverpool team'
18:34 , Jamie BraidwoodFormer Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher, speaking on Sky Sports.
”Awful performance considering the opposition. I'm not trying to be disrespectful to Tottenham right now, but they've been the worst team in the Premier League for probably the last couple of months.
“Exactly who you want to play, playing at home, the incentive of the other results this weekend as well, and to put in a performance like that, but it's been like that all season.
”And the big question on everybody's lips, is that down to the manager or the makeup of the squad? Could a new manager completely revitalise these type of players and bring that energy and sort of intensity back into this team. I'm not sure.
”I think a lot of it goes back to what happened in the summer, the profile of the players come in, and there's just too many players who just want to play when the ball is at their feet.
”They don't want to dig in when the opposition have got the ball and make it difficult, and that's why it's so easy to play against this Liverpool team.”

FULL TIME! Liverpool 1-1 Tottenham
18:32 , Jamie BraidwoodTottenham are still without a Premier League win this year.
But they have stopped their losing run, earning a first point under Igor Tudor.
They have life, and encouragement. The away end at Anfield is happy again.

FULL TIME! Liverpool 1-1 Tottenham
18:26 , Jamie BraidwoodBoos at Anfield. A huge, huge boost to Tottenham. They salvage a point.
That’s a disaster for Liverpool.
Liverpool 1-1 Tottenham
18:25 , Jamie Braidwood90+5 mins: Tottenham have a corner... Ekitike scrambles clear.. then sparks the counter attack!
It falls to Ekitike in the box. He swivels, but Dragusin blocks and Spurs survive! That was 4-on-1.
Liverpool 1-1 Tottenham
18:22 , Jamie Braidwood90+2 mins: We are into five minutes of added time. Anfield is stunned. It’s him again.

Liverpool 1-1 Tottenham
18:20 , Jamie Braidwood90 mins: Wow. Incredible. Richarlison rolls in the finish to punish weak Liverpool defending.
Liverpool have sleepwalked into this. Tottenham have a crucial point to hold onto. Igor Tudor could be about to stop the losing run.
GOAL! Liverpool 1-1 Tottenham (RICHARLISON 90')
18:18 , Jamie BraidwoodTHAT COULD BE PRICELESS! RICHARLISON AGAIN AT ANFIELD!
IT HAD BEEN COMING.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
18:17 , Richard Jolly at Anfield88 mins: Simons with a low shot. It’s saved by Alisson, who really has racked up the stops this afternoon.
Giorgi Mamaradashvili was one of Liverpool's better players in Istanbul on Tuesday but they can be grateful Alisson has returned.
He has been excellent.

Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
18:15 , Jamie Braidwood86 mins: Hesitation from Liverpool at the back. Gray swings in a cross but it drifts over Richarlison and out.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
18:13 , Jamie Braidwood84 mins: The 18-year-old Trey Nyoni is on for Gakpo, who earlier hit the post. Szoboszlai drags a left-footed shot wide.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
18:10 , Jamie Braidwood81 mins: Liverpool stall on the counter and put their foot on the ball. For Slot’s side, taking some control back wouldn’t be a bad thing. They have missed an opportunity to land the knockout blow.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
18:07 , Jamie Braidwood77 mins: Liverpool are attacking with urgency now. Gravenberch works room for a shot but it deflects up and into Vicario’s arms.
And yet... Tottenham go close again as Gray flights in a ball and Richarlison is agonisingly close to the header at the back post.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
18:05 , Richard Jolly at AnfieldWatching both teams give the ball away with great regularity, it is worth remembering they came third and fourth in the Champions League group phase...

Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
18:03 , Jamie Braidwood74 mins; Oh dear... that’s awful from Salah as Liverpool spring forward. He can’t find Ekitike. There’s space in the game now. There’s going to be another goal... but to Liverpool, or Tottenham? They have a precious chance to steal a point here. It’s the most competitive game they’ve been in for weeks.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
18:01 , Jamie Braidwood72 mins; CHANCE! Salah should score! Dragusin makes a mess of the long ball forward and Salah sneaks in around the back. On the volley, he drags his shot wide.
Actually, it was a good save from Vicario.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:59 , Jamie Braidwood71 mins: Liverpool are looking dangerous. Gakpo and Salah are sharp to find Ekitike, but he lets the ball roll under his feet!
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:58 , Jamie Braidwood69 mins: A poor clearance from Vicario gives Liverpool a chance to go forwards. Salah has space to cut inside on, but his shot is blocked. Liverpool are looking much brighter in attack overall with Ekitike and Salah on.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:57 , Jamie Braidwood67 mins: You can feel the nerves around Anfield. It feels as if Liverpool are sleepwalking towards a 1-1 draw.
And Richarlison threatens again! A shot with the outside of his boot is saved by Alisson.
Liverpool break. Bit Ekitike shoots over after cutting inside.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:55 , Richard Jolly at AnfieldSlot is very conscious of how young Ngumoha is and that he got cramp when he started in the FA Cup against Barnsley, so it is not surprise he went off, well as he played. Given Jeremie Frimpong's injury problems this season, it was probably a precautionary move to take him off as well.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:52 , Jamie BraidwoodAnd here come the Liverpool changes. A standing ovation for Ngumoha, who has enjoyed a fine first Premier League start.
On: Salah, Ekitike, Jones
Off: Ngumoha, Frimpong, Wirtz
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:49 , Jamie Braidwood61 mins: Ngumoha, cleverly, slips in Wirtz and the ball across the face is deflected wide. If Liverpool need a goal, they still have Ekitike and Salah on the bench. A big game awaits against Galatasaray on Wednesday but they need to get three points first.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:48 , Richard Jolly at Anfield60 mins: There is a very real chance Tottenham could get Igor Tudor's first point. And perhaps his only ever point. But they have been the more threatening side in the last 20 minutes of football and they have brought on Xavi Simons. Liverpool could do with a second goal.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:46 , Jamie Braidwood57 mins: End to end action as Simons sees a shot blocked, by his own player I think, then as Ngumoha breezes past Porro on the breakaway. Liverpool, though, can’t work Vicario into a save.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:44 , Jamie Braidwood55 mins; Another chance for Richarlison! A long ball works its way through to Richarlison, with Van Dijk trying to close him down. Richarlison gets the shot away but Alisson smothers. Richarlison wants a penalty because Van Dijk was challenging, but the big centre-back was just too strong.
Xavi Simons is coming on for Souza.

Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:42 , Jamie Braidwood52 mins: Direct play from Ngumoha again as he cuts inside and shoots low, with Vicario keeping his hands on the ball. It’s been a brighter start from Liverpool after half time, but Wirtz’s pass towards Ngumoha is too casual when Liverpool could have forced another chance.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:39 , Jamie Braidwood50 mins: WIDE! Frimpong takes off down the right and draws it back across the box. Ngumoha cuts in and unleashes a fierce shot, but it’s always fading wide.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:38 , Jamie Braidwood49 mins: A reminder that Spurs are in this game as Danso winds up a long throw and Liverpool fall back into their box. Van Dijk leaps to head away.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:36 , Jamie Braidwood47 mins: Ngumoha wriggles past Souza and tumbles down in the box in front of the Tottenham fans! A penalty? No! It’s waved away.
Very good again from the winger.
And it looks like Igor Tudor has been booked.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:34 , Jamie Braidwood46 mins: We are back underway. No changes at the break, and Tottenham haven’t won after going into half time behind since October 2024.
Warning signs for Liverpool? Second half coming next
17:32 , Richard Jolly at AnfieldA couple of warning signs for Liverpool at the end of the first half. Richarlison, who twice came close, has a good scoring record at Anfield and, as a former Everton player, takes particular pleasure in scoring against them.

HALF TIME! Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:18 , Jamie BraidwoodThat was very sloppy from Van Dijk in stoppage time, giving the ball away. Tottenham win a corner, and then Alisson saves from Richarlison at the back post!
And that brings half time. Szoboszlai’s free-kick is the difference but Tottenham are very much in this game. Liverpool failed to kick on after taking the lead.

Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:15 , Jamie Braidwood45 mins: CHANCE! Richarlison has an excellent record against Liverpool and is so close to improving that! The Brazilian goes agonisingly wide at the back post after beating Van Dijk to the header. That would have been a fifth goal at Anfield as an opposition player.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:14 , Jamie Braidwood43 mins: From a very tight angle, Szoboszlai crashes the ball into the box and Danso heads clear. From the second ball, Van Dijk scrambles it back across but Liverpool were missing a finishing touch.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:13 , Jamie Braidwood41 mins: A solo run from Ngumoha down the left, skipping past Porro, draws some ooohs from the Kop. The teenager then draws a free-kick from Souza.
‘Rio, Rio’ rings around Anfield on Ngumoha’s first Premier League start.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:08 , Richard Jolly at AnfieldAlmost a goal for Cody Gakpo and, while Mohamed Salah has been dropped today, there is a threat to Gakpo. Rio Ngumoha has taken his usual spot on the left wing and is clearly the long-term challenger to him. Gakpo's form this season has been underwhelming; his goal tally has been, too.

OFF THE POST! Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:07 , Jamie Braidwood35 mins: Gravenberch steals the ball from Richarlison and it breaks to Gakpo to shoot from the edge of the box. Vicario gets an excellent touch to help it onto the post, making amends, or a bit at least, for his earlier efforts.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:04 , Jamie Braidwood33 mins: Liverpool break forward and Wirtz shows excellent awareness to pick out Ngumoha in space. The youngster’s shot is blocked by Porro and Spurs survive.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
17:01 , Jamie Braidwood30 mins: Groans from the Tottenham end as Porro, who is wearing the armband in the absence of Van de Ven and Romero, overhits a crossfield pass.
But Porro does well to stop a charging Robertson. Vicario gives it away and Sarr has to head away with Wirtz waiting in the box. Liverpool corner.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
16:59 , Jamie Braidwood28 mins: According to Opta, Dominik Szoboszlai has now scored more direct free-kicks in a Premier League season, with four, than any player since David Beckham and Laurent Robert, in 2000/01 and 2001/02 respectively. They got five...
4 - Dominik Szoboszlai has scored four direct free-kick goals in the Premier League this season, the most ever by a Liverpool player in a single campaign in the competition, with only David Beckham in 2000-01 and Laurent Robert in 2001-02 (both 5) netting more. Fantastic. pic.twitter.com/X3Arm4yD8x
— OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) March 15, 2026
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
16:55 , Jamie Braidwood24 mins: Another huge test for Tottenham. But Liverpool of last year would take this first half by the scruff of the neck in front of a baying Kop, and they are not the same beast now.
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham
16:53 , Jamie Braidwood22 mins: A player as talented from the set-piece as Szoboszlai does not need to find the corner. It’s awful from Vicario.
GOAL! Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham (SZOBOSZLAI 18')
16:49 , Jamie BraidwoodA hush around Anfield as Dominik Szoboszlai stands over the free-kick in front of the Kop....
AND HE DOES IT AGAIN! Szoboszlai gets it up and over the wall, but Vicario has to do so, so much better!
Oh dear, oh dear. Tottenham have had a horrible week for goalkeeping errors and it gets worse here.
After a bright start, the crisis club are behind in the Premier League once again. Liverpool are up for it now and Gravenberch curls over.

Liverpool 0-0 Tottenham
16:48 , Richard Jolly at AnfieldIgor Tudor has made it into the 18th minute without substituting a goalkeeper. Progress. Of sorts, anyway.
Mac Allister is fouled by a combination of Archie Gray and Souza on the edge of the box.

Liverpool 0-0 Tottenham
16:44 , Richard Jolly at AnfieldSouza is a young left-back playing on the right wing. It may seem Igor Tudor's strangest selection of the day but it was almost vindicated there, with Alisson required to save from his fellow Brazilian.
Liverpool 0-0 Tottenham
16:43 , Jamie Braidwood13 mins: Another chance for Tottenham from the corner. There’s a lot of pulling in the box but the corner falls to Danso at the back post. It’s blocked by Gravenberch, but that could have gone in.
Liverpool 0-0 Tottenham
16:42 , Jamie Braidwood11 mins: Chance for Tottenham! They’ve been lively down the left and Liverpool look sloppy at the back. Solanke breaks into the box and Richarlison almost scrambles in. Souza then unleashes a swerving strike, tipped over by Alisson.
Liverpool 0-0 Tottenham
16:41 , Jamie Braidwood10 mins: Lovely ball from Gravenberch through to Wirtz, who looks lively. The German finds Gakpo, but the shot from the Dutchman is awful and into the Kop.
Liverpool 0-0 Tottenham
16:38 , Jamie Braidwood7 mins: Tel dribbles out of play for the second time this afternoon. It was a bit sloppy from Mac Allister losing the ball in midfield. Szoboszlai then clears into Tel’s face, and the winger goes down.
Liverpool 0-0 Tottenham
16:36 , Jamie Braidwood5 mins: Tottenham come under some pressure from Robertson’s ball in - there’s a shout for handball on Spence as it comes up onto his elbow, but that’s not enough for a penalty. Spurs clear.
Liverpool 0-0 Tottenham
16:34 , Jamie Braidwood4 mins: A steady start from both sides. Tel dribbled out of play under the eye of Szoboszlai. After a spell of Liverpool possession, Szoboszlai then had to be sharp to cut out the threat of Tel on the break.

Liverpool 0-0 Tottenham
16:31 , Richard Jolly at AnfieldSo it is Jeremie Frimpong who has taken Salah's place. He is on the right wing, with Szoboszlai behind him. Meanwhile, Spurs' lack of centre-backs has forced Igor Tudor to play 4-4-2.
KICK-OFF! Liverpool 0-0 Tottenham
16:31 , Jamie BraidwoodWe’re underway.
Liverpool v Tottenham LIVE: Reminder of team news and how to watch

Igor Tudor: 'Every stadium is a difficult stadium for us at the moment'
16:24 , Jamie BraidwoodUnder-fire Tottenham boss Igor Tudor speaks to Sky Sports, and is asked whether facing Liverpool at Anfield is the ‘last team and last stadium’ Spurs would want to visit right now.
“For us, every stadium is a difficult stadium. Every team we play against is difficult, so, that's the challenge.
“That's the challenge. To be focused on us, to do something extra to be better, to grow. That's the only way you can do.
”In this situation you can come out as a as a better player, as a better person, so it's a challenge for them.”

What happened across the Premier League in the earlier kick-off?
16:11 , Jamie BraidwoodManchester United’s 3-1 win over Aston Villa is big for Liverpool, who could go level on points with third-placed United and leapfrog both Villa and Chelsea into fourth place if they beat Tottenham at Anfield.
At the other end of the table, Nottingham Forest have matched West Ham by picking up a point this weekend, although they were only held to a 0-0 draw at home to Fulham in the relegation fight.
That means Tottenham are only sitting above the relegation zone on goal difference before kick-off at Anfield.
