The summer transfer window is still some months away from opening, but that hasn’t stopped Liverpool from being linked with a potential new player.
Reports in Spain have credited the Reds with an interest in signing Atletico Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente at the end of the season.
According to Fichajes , Jurgen Klopp is a huge admirer of Llorente and is "very interested" in asking the club to make a move to bring the player to Anfield.
The report adds that Liverpool are closely monitoring Llorente with a view to signing the 27-year-old in the summer.

Llorente may be a player that Liverpool fans will remember, although not in a fond way.
When the Reds faced Atletico in the Champions League in 2020, Llorente was on target twice as they lost 3-2 at Anfield in the last-16 second leg.
That result saw Liverpool exit the competition as reigning champions 4-2 on aggregate and at the first knockout stage.
Since then, Llorente has gone on to become a key player in midfield for Diego Simeone’s side.
He has made 72 appearances since the start of last season, but his goal record is very different this term.
Last year Llorente found the back of the net on 13 occasions, but this season he is yet to get off the scoring mark.
Back in August, Llorente committed his long-term future to Atletico by signing a new contract which runs until 2027.
If Liverpool were to make a move to bring Llorente to Anfield, it would certainly take a sizable transfer bid.
