A number of Liverpool venues will be hosting viewing parties for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
Liverpool is set to feel the thunderous impact of Eurovision when it officially kicks off this month. For one incredible week of music, the city will play host to Europe's biggest stars in one of the year's most-watched events.
Pier Head will see the most drastic change with the area turned into Eurovillage, the official gathering place for fans to watch and celebrate this year's show. It typically involves screens to broadcast the contest to audiences outside of the arena while surrounded by cultural activities provided by the local council.

Venues across Liverpool are also being offered LGBTQ+ training in order to accommodate the contest's large queer audience, creating safe spaces around the city. Businesses have taken initiative to get involved with the event with many hosting their own viewing parties.
The Eurovision Song Contest viewing party list will be updated as venues announce their plans.
