Liverpool appear to have concluded all of their business before deadline day - or so we thought.

The Reds very quickly sealed a deal for PSV’s star forward Cody Gakpo early in the window. Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp confirmed that his side were not expecting to rubber-stamp any deals on the final day of the January window.

Speaking after his side’s FA Cup defeat to Brighton, he said: “No, nothing will happen in this transfer window."
