Klopp has ‘positive’ Amrabat meeting
Liverpool have been strongly linked with a move for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat of late and the latest reports have revealed that Klopp has held a positive meeting with the Moroccan’s representatives.
The 26-year-old has shone at the 2022 World Cup with Morocco over the past two weeks and most recently helped them secure their first ever quarter-final tie by knocking out Spain in the last 16. As a result of his performances, the Reds are keen to act fast on securing a deal.
And according to FootMercato, Amrabat’s entourage has already met with Klopp and it is said that the meeting between the two parties was a positive one, with further discussions pencilled in after the conclusion of the World Cup later this month.

Reds receive Thuram boost
In more welcome news for Liverpool fans, the Reds have received a boost over a potential transfer for Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram.
The 25-year-old, who is currently competing in Qatar with France and is preparing to take on England in the quarter-finals on Saturday, will see his contract expire at the end of the season, with Liverpool already registering previous interest in signing him next summer.
However, there were fears that Serie A leaders Napoli were also keen on snapping him up, although Italian broadcaster Rai (via Inside Futbol ) claimed that the Italian outfit are not in the race for the Frenchman next summer.
Bellingham’s family ‘prefer’ Liverpool move
In what could be the final piece of Liverpool’s jigsaw to sign England and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham next summer, it has been reported that the youngster’s family would prefer a move to Anfield.
The 19-year-old has been widely tipped to become Liverpool’s primary midfield target next summer and following a standout World Cup campaign with the Three Lions, is all but set for a departure from the Bundesliga outfit as Europe’s elite begin to circle.
But a huge boost for Liverpool in the race to capture Bellingham is that his family’s preference is for him to move to Merseyside next summer, as reported by German outlet BILD. However, a final decision is yet to be made on his future.
