Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic should be a transfer target for Liverpool. That's the view of former Reds full-back Jose Enrique who believes the USA international is an ideal replacement for the injured Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz at Anfield.
Pulisic has sometimes flattered to deceive at Chelsea in recent seasons despite joining for a £58million fee in 2019. The American has made 87 appearances for the Blues in the Premier League, scoring 20 goals along the way.
Behind stars such as Mason Mount, Raheem Sterling, Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz in the pecking order, Pulisic is midway through a difficult season at Stamford Bridge, scoring just once in 18 outings in new boss Graham Potter's first game.

Liverpool were close to completing a famous quadruple last season, winning both domestic cups and only being halted from making it four trophies with a late Manchester City comeback on the final day of the Premier League season and a 1-0 loss to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final back in May.
But they have not fared so well since, scraping past Derby in the League Cup on penalties, finishing second in their Champions League group to Napoli and sitting an incredible 15 points behind Arsenal in the Premier League.
Thee sale of Sadio Mane alongside the subsequent bedding in of Darwin Nunez has perhaps taken longer than anticipated at Anfield whilst a lack of midfield signings could have contributed to their downfall. Though injuries are the real part te play, with the Reds undergoing yet more treatment hell. In a bid to curb that, former star Enrique has told the club to sign Pulisic - who he believes is an 'incredible player'.
"You will like him at LFC," Enrique said on his Instagram. "I believe he is an incredible player with lots of talent. The problem? He is always injured. But if we are able to get a loan option until the summer for him, I believe it will be a good deal with Diaz and Jota out for a long time.”
A switch to Liverpool could make sense for Pulisic if the Reds could offer him game time - but Chelsea may be reluctant to make a deal with them as a result of the rivalry for Champions League qualification. Pulisic has also been linked with Newcastle ahead of the January transfer window.
A Premier League move for Pulisic would go against the wish of interim sporting director and co-owner Todd Boehly though, with the Blues said to want a move abroad for the 24-year-old rather than in the same league.
