Liverpool have been told they must go all in for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham this summer.
Former Reds winger Jermaine Pennant named the 18-year-old the 'next Steven Gerrard' - a title which has been thrown around amongst fans with Jurgen Klopp reportedly being a big admirer in his game.
Bellingham has shone in the Bundesliga and played a part in England's run to the Euro 2020 final last summer, earning plaudits along the way.
Expected to be one of Liverpool's priorities in the summer transfer window, Bellingham has currently valued at £67.5 million according to Transfermarkt.

And Pennant has said that the Reds should not be put off by his transfer fee, adding that he feels Bellingham is a perfect fit for Liverpool's squad.
Pennant told BestofBets.com : "He's an incredible fantastic young talent; he reminds me of a young Steven Gerrard. For a young kid like that, he's built well, he's not scared of a challenge, he can get up the pitch, he can score, he can assist, he can also do the defensive side of it.
"So, he's got that Steven Gerrard mould. I really think Klopp would get so much out of him, and nurture him, and progress his career like he has done with the players that he's got now.
"Liverpool would be a great fit for Jude; as a club they really look after their players and develop them.
"Take Mo Salah for example. Liverpool snapped him up for not much money and turned him into a world class player, and it’s the same with Mane, so I think it will be a great addition to the squad.
"And I think in that midfield, he will give that little bit extra, because creativity wise, Liverpool's midfield is more defensive minded, but that works for the front line, and that obviously helps the defensive side as well, but someone like Jude Bellingham may be the key to create that super squad.
"So yes - they should really do all they can to get him."
LiverpoolECHO reported that Klopp continues to monitor Bellingham but are aware it would take a big-money offer to persuade Dortmund to consider selling the player.
In any case, the German side are understood to be wary of allowing the midfielder to leave during the next transfer window given Erling Haaland is already expected to depart - with a release clause of £66 million.
