Liverpool have been told they left it “too late” to show an interest in signing a particular midfielder this summer.
The Reds continue to be linked with a host of potential new midfielders as the transfer window rumbles on. Liverpool have until 11pm tonight to formally complete any deals before the window closes.
One player who has been linked with Liverpool recently is Benfica star Enzo Fernandez. The 21-year-old only moved to the Portuguese club this summer from River Plate in Argentina, for a fee of around £15m including add-ons.
