Liverpool told a quadruple wouldn't top Manchester United's treble

Stan Collymore believes if Liverpool were to win the quadruple, it wouldn't match the achievement of when Manchester United won the treble back in 1999.

The Reds would become the first English side to win an unprecedented quadruple should they emerge victorious in all competitions.

While the former Liverpool striker believes a quadruple win would be a huge achievement, Collymore doesn't think it would be an greater than United's treble, Tottenham's double win in 1961 or Arsenal's double win in 1971. The ex-striker thinks United's win would still be the best of them all.
