Liverpool will find out its Eurovision Song Contest fate tomorrow after weeks of campaigning.
An announcement will be made on Friday, October 6, with the competition to host the showpiece event down to just Liverpool and Glasgow. The two cities were whittled down from a wider shortlist last month.
After Ukraine's Kalush Orchestr won the 2022 competition, it was decided that the ongoing invasion of the country by Russia means it is not safe to host the event there next year. As a result, the UK will host after its entrant Sam Ryder came second in this year's contest.

Having beaten off hopeful cities like Manchester, Leeds, London and Birmingham only Glasgow now stands in Liverpool's way.
While speaking on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky earlier today, Graham Norton said that he would be announcing which city would be hosting the competition on the BBC One Show on Friday.
Graham said: "Myself and Sam, on Friday night, we will be discussing where Eurovision is going to be — because we’ll know by then."
Then, later in the evening, Sam will be a guest on The Graham Norton Show.
Graham Norton will reveal the news on the BBC One Show, which airs from 7pm to 7.30pm on Friday.
