Liverpool star Ibrahima Konate sends emotional message to fans as 'childhood dream' comes true

Ibrahima Konate Liverpool World Cup France

Ibrahima Konate has posted a message on social media after achieving his 'childhood dream' of being named in the France squad for the World Cup.

It was revealed on Wednesday night that the Liverpool defender would be making the trip to Qatar as France begin the defence of the World Cup they won in 2018.

Konate earned his first cap for the French senior team in June after he received a late call-up to Didier Deschamps' squad.
