Arsenal and Liverpool both made marquee signings this summer by adding a new striker each to their squad. The Gunners spent £45million to sign Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City, while Liverpool signed Darwin Nunez for nearly double that figure - shelling out up to £85million for the Uruguayan.
They have had differing starts, with Jesus flying for Arsenal, while Nunez has struggled since joining Liverpool - the Gunners' opponents on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium.
Jesus has claimed eight direct goal contributions in eight games, while Nunez has scored once in seven appearances across all competitions, unable to get on the scoresheet in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Rangers on Tuesday evening.

Nunez will have a tough task on Sunday afternoon, as he will be up against the in-form William Saliba as the two teams battle at the Emirates Stadium. Playing in England for the first time, the language barrier has been an issue for Nunez, who has joked that he doesn't understand Jurgen Klopp ahead of the weekend's match.
Speaking to ESPN Vivo, he said: "Truthfully, when he [Klopp] speaks I don’t understand anything.
"I don't know English and he doesn't know Spanish. Yes, we have a Portuguese translator in Pep (Lijnders), who I understand, and there is also Vitor (Matos), another Portuguese.
"They are the translators when Klopp talks to the group. They sit next to me and explain what I have to do. If they didn't explain it to me, I'd enter the field with no idea what to do."
