Djibril Cisse wants Liverpool to replace the outgoing Roberto Firmino with Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe in the summer.
Firmino made his intentions to leave Anfield in the summer clear to Jurgen Klopp last week as his contract expires and the former Reds striker wants Mbappe brought in. The former France international made the move from Auxerre to Liverpool in the summer of 2004 and went on to win the Champions League and FA Cup before leaving for Marseille after three years.
Mbappe has previously confirmed he held discussions with the Reds prior to putting pen to paper on a new contract in Paris ahead of the 2022/23 season - and Cisse believes he would feel 'at home' on Merseyside should he make the move to Anfield.

"I want to see Kylian Mbappe at Liverpool," Cisse told Lord Ping. "I think it is a perfect match and league for him. Look at what Mo Salah is achieving at the moment - he could achieve the same things.
"Top clubs need top players, so I would love to see Mbappe there - but I know a lot of clubs want him.
"Kylian Mbappe will feel at home and loved at Liverpool. He will also produce great football. I believe it’s either his mum or another member of his family that loves Liverpool and it would be great to see him join."
