Jude Bellingham has been compared to Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard by former Arsenal star Emmanuel Petit.
The Reds continue to be heavily linked with a move for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder. Reports continue to emerge claiming that a price tag well in excess of £100million would be needed in order to sign the talent in the coming months.
Bellingham is currently with the England squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He is alongside Liverpool stars Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold as the Three Lions prepare to face Senegal on Sunday in their last-16 tie.

It remains to be seen whether or not Liverpool actively try and sign Bellingham, either in the January transfer window or next summer. The likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid have all been credited with an interest in the 19-year-old, alongside the Reds.
With interest likely to be high in Bellingham’s services in the coming months, former Arsenal star Emmanuel Petit has compared the teenager to a Liverpool legend. Petit has explained why he thinks Bellingham is a similar player to Gerrard during his time at Anfield.
“I love Jude Bellingham,” Petit told Midnite.com. “He's the mix between Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard.
“He's very mature, and his body language on the pitch is tremendous.
“He can do so many things on the pitch so for me, he's one of the best players [in his position] in the world right now.”
