Liverpool could be about to land a 'very exciting talent' should they complete the signing of full-back Calvin Ramsay in the next few days.
That's the view of the 18-year-old's current Aberdeen manager, Jim Goodwin, who has seen the attacking right-back progress since taking charge of the Dons back in February. Ramsay will undertake a medical with the Reds after the two sides agreed a deal that could rise to as high as £6.5milllion, making him the Scottish Premier League side's record transfer.
Speaking to The Herald, Goodwin said: “I think the academy here at Aberdeen deserves a huge amount of credit for developing Calvin. He is not one I can take a huge amount of credit for as he was in the team prior to me coming in. Liverpool are very lucky if the deal does go through because they are getting a very exciting talent who won the Young Player of the Year award."
