Former Liverpool forward Djibril Cisse believes Kylian Mbappe has to be Roberto Firmino’s replacement at his old club.
Mbappe has become embroiled in a public dispute over his Paris Saint-Germain future. It is claimed that the French giants would prefer to sell the forward this summer rather than lose him for nothing in 12 months when his existing contract is due to expire, given his lack of interest in extending the deal.
The developments have reportedly put Real Madrid on high alert. The World Cup winner has regularly been linked with the Reds in recent years, stemming from the fact that Jurgen Klopp and FSG chief John W. Henry reportedly held talks with the forward when he left Monaco for PSG, initially on loan, in 2017.
