Ruben Neves clues start to add up as Liverpool transfer rumours continue
For a number of reasons, there is little surprise to see Liverpool named in connection to a potential transfer for Ruben Neves.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder has been linked with the Reds in recent days as the online transfer rumour mill continued to churn out its content over the weekend.
It's unclear exactly where the initial report from the last few days has come from, but recent comments made in an interview with The Times have inevitably led to increased speculation surrounding the Portugal international's future.

Neves said: “One of the things I miss most is the Champions League, it’s the best competition in the world to play in. So let’s try to achieve that. If you ask me at the end of last season [about my future] I would have said to you, ‘I will leave’ but I’m still here, so we never know what’s going to happen. We will see."

Jurgen Klopp happy with FSG spend despite wanting Liverpool to 'take more risks' in transfer market
Jurgen Klopp has hinted there are times when he would like Liverpool to spend more money in the transfer market, but insists he has no issues with how FSG run the club.
The Reds are currently struggling to bring in a new midfielder before Thursday's transfer deadline, having previously changed stance after insisting their incoming business was done for the year after bringing in Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay. Having spent an initial £73m on the trio, the club recouped the vast majority of that fee in player sales after selling Sadio Mane, Neco Williams, Takumi Minamino and Ben Davies.
And while Klopp admitted he would have liked to see Liverpool be more adventurous in the transfer market, he also reiterated his faith in his current squad regardless as he targeted overseeing another successful season at Anfield.
