Liverpool may have handed Arsenal yet another boost in their quest to be back in European competition next season.

Last weekend the Reds emerged victorious over Chelsea in the 2022 Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium via a penalty shootout and their reward - aside from the trophy and ending Manchester City's dominance - is a spot in the Europa Conference League (UECL).

Although barring a surprise set of results between now and the end of the season, that UECL place is likely to drop to the next eligible team in the Premier League.
