Liverpool recorded their first win of the new Premier League season with a fantastic 9-0 victory over Bournemouth at Anfield on Saturday. The Reds put Monday's defeat at Manchester United behind them to go on a scoring spree in front of their own fans.
The win saw Liverpool move up to eighth in the Premier League table, putting them five points behind Manchester City in second and seven behind Arsenal who occupy top spot in the league.
Rivals Chelsea beat Leicester City 2-1 to stay two points ahead of Liverpool as Manchester United are a single point in front of Jurgen Klopp's side. The Reds host Newcastle on Wednesday, in what is sure to be a tough game against Eddie Howe's big-spenders.

Newcastle (H) - Aug 31
Eddie Howe has got Newcastle playing since his arrival in January and there 3-3 draw with City last weekend proved that. Record signing Alexander Isak is likely to make his debut for the Magpies at Anfield in what is sure to be a tough game for the Reds.
Everton (A) - Sep 3
The Merseyside derby always means form is thrown out of the window, but last season, Liverpool enjoyed two wins over the nearest rivals and a thumping victory at Goodison came with that. Darwin Nunez will be back from his suspension for this game.
Wolves (H) - Sep 10
Wolves proved a tricky opponent for Liverpool last season in both matches and they may be even tougher this time around with the talented Matheus Nunes in their side. Late goals were needed in both matches last term as Liverpool took the points.
Chelsea (A) - Sep 18
This is always a very tough game for Liverpool and any team in the Premier League. The two sides met four times last season and all finished in a draw - Liverpool won the two cup finals through a penalty shootout. A chance to lay down a marker for the Reds.

Graham Potter has his side playing some good football and a win at Old Trafford on the opening day proved they are not fazed by the big occasion.

The current form side in the Premier League who occupy top spot, Arsenal look a different team this season, but matches like this will prove whether they are title contenders or not.
