National Museums Liverpool has a number of job opportunities available, with impressive salaries.
NML runs seven venues across Merseyside - the World Museum, Walker Art Gallery, Museum of Liverpool, Maritime Museum and International Slavery Museum in Liverpool, plus Sudley House in Mossley Hill and Lady Lever Art Gallery in Port Sunlight, Wirral.
They range from head of a museum, to senior exhibitions officer and working in communications.

NML has ambitious plans for its waterfront sites, including the redevelopment of the International Slavery Museum and the Maritime Museum, thanks to an award of £9.9m from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, and the UK Government’s Levelling Up Fund.
Head of Museum of Liverpool

The Museum of Liverpool is NML's major city history museum. They are looking for someone with strong subject matter knowledge and a demonstrable track record of leading in a museum or community setting. You will also need to have experience of working in or with museums and museum collections.

Senior exhibitions officer
Salary: £27,815

The job advert states: "This fixed term role will support the delivery of new visitor experiences and galleries within the International Slavery Museum and the Maritime Museum as part of National Museum Liverpool's Waterfront Transformation Programme.
"We're looking for someone with strong project management experience and excellent communication skills who is confident managing multiple projects and has plenty of creative ideas to contribute to the delivery of memorable visitor attractions."

Head of Digital
Salary: £43,403

The job vacancy states: "In this role, you'll oversee an extremely capable team responsible for the development, delivery and management of world-class visitor-focused digital experiences as well as effective production and distribution of dynamic, engaging, and compelling editorial content across our hugely successful platforms.
It goes on to say the successful candidate will develop and implement "a highly ambitious digital strategy which includes pushing the boundaries of what's perceived as possible in museums and galleries, expanding collaboration, increasing awareness and visibility of our wide-ranging venues, exhibitions, events, commercial, learning, and fundraising work as well as amplifying the National Museums Liverpool brand."

PR & Communications officer
Salary: £27,815

The job advert states: "We're looking for an experienced press and media relations professional with a fantastic network who can help us develop awareness of our engagement, commercial, fundraising and partnerships activity. The successful candidate will have experience of implementing tactical and integrated campaigns to achieve high impact output.
"We expect you'll be a brilliant communicator with substantial experience of identifying strong stories and angles that would make interesting press items. You will need energy, creativity and resilience to build cross-departmental and cross-organisation relationships."
