The LGBTQ+ community in Liverpool for Eurovision are in for the time of their lives with special events being staged at venues across the city.
Liverpool has a rich and vibrant LGBTQ+ history so it's no surprise we're going all out to welcome Eurovision’s fan base within the community. Hotel bookings for Eurovision week in the city are through the roof as people clamour to be in town for what will be an incredible spectacle of culture and music.
We know Liverpool knows how to throw a party - no more so than in the city's LGBTQ+ venues. Official and unofficial events will see guest appearances from RuPaul’s Drag Race stars as well as previous Eurovision contestants.

Pride Quarter
The Lisbon, Stanley Street
Sunday, May 7 - Saturday, May 13
Open from 12 pm to late
Guests can enjoy the venue’s Eurovision-themed cocktails and food throughout the week. There will be a Eurovision lip sync competition hosted by drag queen veteran Lady Sian, live shows will be screened and on Friday the club will be transformed into a Disco-style Vogue Ball.
OMG, Victoria Street
Friday, May 12 - Saturday, May 13
Opened from 7 pm to late
As well as showing Eurovision on the big screen, OMG is also hosting two dedicated events for the Song Contest. On Friday, all things ABBA will take over the venue with customers encouraged to dress up in their best fit with a chance of winning money. On Saturday, a Eurovision After-Party will be hosted by drag queen duo Carmen Sutra and Kiki Pain. All week the venue will be offering two-for-one cocktails at certain hours.
Dorothy’s Showbar, Victoria Street
Wednesday, May 10 - Sunday, May 14
Open from 10 pm on weekdays and 7 pm on weekends
Dorothy’s Showbar is set to be jam packed for Eurovision week with events such as a welcome party, themed karaoke and quizzes and a wind-down party where guests can either celebrate the UK’s win or take the edge off it with a cocktail. All events are led by drag queens such as Skarlett Skandal and Cherry Aid. Book for booth and drink packages throughout the week.
Superstar Boudoir, Stanley Street
Monday, May 8 - Sunday, May 14
Open till 5 am every night
The recently renovated LGBTQ+ venue will see entertainment by a different drag queen each night of the week - all of whom play various genres of music. Whilst you can expect comedy and cheesy hits from Shania Pain, Brenda LaBeau is sure to have musicals on repeat. The bar will also be showing both the semi-finals and the Eurovision Grand Final.
GBar Liverpool, Eberle Street
Thursday, May 11 - Saturday, May 13
Open from 11 pm to late
Across all three nights, GBar will be celebrating the arrival of the world’s biggest song competition. Drag queens Just Minnie and Violet Period-Pain will be playing all things cheesy and pop and DJ Andy Locker will be help you dance the night away spinning house beats. For something a little different, GBar will also be hosting a street party on Saturday beginning at 5 pm.
Heaven Nightclub, Victoria Street
Tuesday, May 9 - Sunday, May 14
Open from 10 pm to 7 am
The vibrant nightclub is hosting a week-long party and isn’t holding back. Alongside themed nights and special drink offers, there will be plenty of photo opportunities for your Instagram feed. Guests can expect to see life-size cardboard cut-outs of Eurovision’s most eccentric winners which will compliment Heaven’s drag queen and dancing team’s cohesive outfits.

Liverpool-based drag collective FunnyBoyz is preparing to entertain crowds “like never before” during Eurovision.
As well as a series of stellar drag events running through the week, there'll be special appearances from the UK’s 2003 entry, Jemini, and Ireland’s 1992 winner Linda Martin. RuPaul’s Drag Race star Antonina Nutshell, from Sweden, will also host a party where guests can expect live cabaret, spin the wheel and Benidorm-themed bingo.
Love Lane Brewery, Bridgewater Street

Local drag queen Filla Crack is hosting the week-long EuroLove. The series of events are said to be Filla’s love letter to Eurovision and will include immersive art experiences, a bottomless drag brunch, Nana Funks Eurovision quiz and a screening of the Song Contest Grand Final.
Liverpool ONE, City Centre
EuroCamp, Chavasse Park
Monday, May 8 - Wednesday, May 10
1 pm to 9 pm
As part of the EuroFestival - a two-week culture festival taking over Liverpool - the city is hosting EuroCamp. The three-day event will see everything from drag queen gigs and catwalk extravaganzas to spoken word and dance performances aimed at the LGBTQ+ community.
The events promised to deliver something “that’s never been seen before” all whilst celebrating everything Eurovision. More than 50 artists are involved with performances and walkabout entertainment provided by RubyLemon.
