Liverpool's Eurovision 2023 fever continues as fans can party with Sophie Ellis-Bextor at John Lewis

Eurovision fans are thrilled as Sophie Ellis-Bextor prepares to bring the party to Liverpool today.

The city has been gripped with Eurovision fever as Merseyside stages the international song contest. The excitement will continue today as the singer hosts one of her iconic kitchen disco parties at John Lewis Liverpool.

Guests can expect to party at the Liverpool One venue to some of Sophie’s favourite tracks alongside a fashion show hosted by John Lewis personal stylists. Sophie's party is set to start around 1.30pm today ahead of Thursday's eagerly anticipated semi final.

John Lewis Liverpool is embracing all things Eurovision this week as Jackie Wild, events and marketing coordinator at John Lewis Liverpool, told the ECHO: “We are all so excited here to be part of such an iconic music event. Eurovision fever has already started to sweep across the city and we are ready to welcome the thousands of visitors in-store to John Lewis.

“I personally cannot wait to hear the fabulous music alongside the fun, the fizz and the glitter of Eurovision for Liverpool 2023.”

The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk bus will also arrive in the city today with its plush pink interiors, light-up mirrors and multiple photo areas. It will be in situ outside John Lewis Liverpool on Thomas Steers Way until Saturday, May 13.
